October 7, Fineko/abc.az. The relocation of residents to Shusha will begin at the end of 2023 and at the first stage it is planned to return 2,500 residents to the city, ABC.AZ reports, citing President’s Special Representative for Shusha district Aydin Kerimov.
"People who will return to their homes will live in a comfortable city. We want these people to feel that they are related to these places, connected with these places," Kerimov said.
He emphasized that another main task is jobs, it is necessary to provide them to those who will return to Shusha, and this is taken into account:
"As you know, Shusha is a special city, it has limited economic potential, this city has more cultural and tourist potential. Therefore, we take note of the expectations, conditions in connection with the work of our residents who return to their homes. These issues are reflected in the master plan," Kerimov said.
