October 4, Fineko/abc.az. India’s oil imports from Russia exceeded 18% in September.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that Russia ranked the 2nd after Saudi Arabia on oil supplies to India.

Indian refineries imported 879,000 barrels of fuel daily last month.

India increased purchases of Russian oil by 18.5%. Experts emphasize that "India may buy more Russian oil in the current quarter due to seasonal growth in domestic demand".

In addition, "Russia's share in the Indian crude oil market may continue to grow if the EU fulfills its promise to ban imports of Russian oil from December".
