September 15, Fineko/abc.az. Shell’s CEO Ben van Beurden will retire at the end of 2022, and his successor will be Wael Savan.
ABC.AZ reports that Ben van Beurden will step down as CEO at the end of 2022, and his place will be taken by Wael Savan.
”Wael Savan will take up his duties from 1 January 2023," it is reported.
Van Beurden has worked in the British company for about 39 years. He took over as CEO in 2014. Back in 2016, Van Beurden took advantage of the economic downturn to turn Shell into the world's largest liquefied natural gas trader.
