September 12, Fineko/abc.az. The price of gas fell below $2,100 per 1,000 cu m during trading in Europe on Monday.

ABC.AZ reports that since the beginning of the day, the overall decrease in gas prices was about 3.5%.

The price of October’s futures fell to $2,086 per 1,000 cu m.

The decrease in gas prices is linked with the approach to the maximum of gas reserves in European storage facilities (filled more than by 83.5%).

Previously, the EU countries pledged to fill facilities in European warehouses by at least 80% before the winter of 2022-2023, and by 90% during all subsequent winter periods.
