Turkiye to raise fees for passage of ships through the straits

August 29, Fineko/abc.az. Turkiye plans to quintuple the cost of fees for the passage of merchant ships through the Bosporus and Dardanelles.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Turkish media that fees will be increased from October 7.

This will allow the country to increase annual revenues from $40 million to $200 million.
