August 24, Fineko/abc.az. In January-July 2022, premiums due to voluntary insurance in Azerbaijan amounted to 438.71 million manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that this is 20.3% more than in January-July 2021.

For 7 months, receipts from compulsory types of insurance decreased by 13.3% year-on-year and amounted to AZN 141.791 million.

During the reporting period, the amount of payments on voluntary types of insurance amounted to AZN 186.783 million, which is 18.15% less than a year ago. Over the year, the amount of payments on compulsory types of insurance decreased by 25.55%, to AZN 54.346 million.
