August 16, Fineko/abc.az. Electricity exports amounted to 1,037.7 million kilowatt-hours, and imports made up 83.5 million kilowatt-hours in January-July 2022, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Energy.

In July, the total electricity production in Azerbaijan amounted to 2,751.3 million kilowatt-hours, which means an increase in production by 110.7 million kilowatt-hours, or 4.2%, compared to the same period last year.

In July, electricity imports increased by 1.2 million kilowatt-hours compared to the corresponding period of 2021, amounting to 12.4 million kilowatt-hours, and exports increased by 374.2 million kilowatt-hours compared to the same period last year, amounting to 221.5 million kilowatt-hours.
