Putin signs a law restricting activities of foreign press

July 15, Fineko/abc.az. Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law allowing similar measures to be taken against press organizations of countries that have banned the activities of Russian media. 

ABC.AZ reports that the law published in the Russian State Legal Information System states that "in the event of a ban (restriction) of the activities of Russian media in a foreign state, the activities of the media structure of this state will be prohibited (restricted)". Accordingly, the accreditation or license of a foreign media organization may be revoked in Russia, and its activities may be prohibited.
