June 14, Fineko/abc.az. Turkey's main air carrier, Turkish Airlines, will change its name to Turkiye Havayollar.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated on Tuesday by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the commissioning ceremony of next satellite Turksat 5B.

“We’ve taken a symbolic step by changing the name of our country, which is used in the international arena. Turkey is no more, there is Türkiye,” he stressed.
