June 9, Fineko/abc.az. To date, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund has financed about 41,300 projects through authorized credit organizations and allocated more than AZN 2.7 bn of subsidized loan finances.

ABC.AZ reports that 60.5% of loans are directed for production and processing of farm products, 26.1% for production and processing of industrial products, 2.2% for development of tourism, and 11.1% for the service sector.

In 2002-2022, in the distribution of subsidized loans by regions, the share of Baku city and adjacent settlements made up 6.5%, and the regions - 93.5%. In terms of the number of financed projects, the Karabakh Economic Region ranks 1st among the regions (17.6%). At that, 25.6% (in total) of loans were given to business entities operating in Baku and 74.4% in other districts.
