ABC.AZ reports that the reason for the decline was problems in automotive companies, shortage of semiconductor chips and supply difficulties caused by COVID-19, reports
The total production of cars by Japanese automakers in the world in April 2022 fell by 20.1% (against April 2021) to 1.66 million vehicles.
The global car production lowered by 54.2% in Honda, 49.9% in Mazda, 26.5% in Nissan and 9.1% in Toyota.
On the other hand, the global car production grew by 63.3% in Subaru and 4.1% in Daihatsu.
