ABC.AZ reports that Musk's fortune decreased almost by $17 bn after the share price of the electric car manufacturer Tesla, founded by him, fell amid reports that the company would have to cut 10% of its staff.

The price of Tesla shares fell more than by 5%, reducing the businessman's fortune by $16.9 bn.

Nevertheless, Musk, still with a margin, remains the richest man on the planet and has $216.8 bn in assets.
