October 16, Fineko/abc.az. Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree transferring the Russian assets of 5 foreign companies to the temporary management of a local firm.

Under the decree, the Russian subsidiaries of French flooring manufacturer Tarkett and Belgian personal hygiene product maker Ontex (which owns brands including Helen Harper) have been placed under the temporary management of "Center Capital".

Additionally, the shares of packaging units belonging to Germany's Georg MENSHEN, Netherlands' Sonoco Packaging Netherlands Investments, and Sweden's Sverige International Holdings were also transferred to the same entity as part of retaliatory measures against Western sanctions.
