Russia predicts consistent decline in cost of oil & gas

May 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation predicts consistent decline in the cost of Urals oil and gas prices exported from Russia until 2025.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that the Ministry predicts that the prices of Urals oil and gas will steadily decline.

Thus, according to the MED, in the basic version of the forecast, the average annual cost of Russian Urals export oil in 2022 will be at the level of $80.1 a barrel ($78.6 a barrel in the conservative version).

In 2023, according to the Ministry, prices will be $431.1 ($385.6), in 2024 - $381 ($346.3), in 2025 - $336.7 ($311.5).
