April 27, Fineko/abc.az. Today, the price per 1,000 cu m of natural gas grew by 21% at the opening of the auction in Europe.

ABC.AZ reports that thus, the gas price exceeded $1,330 per 1,000 cu m.

The rise in price was recorded against the background of the termination of Russian gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria. Gazprom confirmed the stoppage of supplies for PGNiG (the state oil & gas company of Poland) and Bulgargaz in connection with non-payment of supplies in rubles.

The price record of $3,892 per 1,000 cu m was reached on 7 March.
