April 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Agency for the Development of Small & Medium-Sized Businesses (KOBIA) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan has issued startup certificates to three more SMEs.

Thus, the number of SMEs that have received startup certificates has reached 39.

ABC.AZ was informed at KOBIA that startup certificates were presented on projects of Setup LLC - organization of a winning quiz through a web and mobile application, Smart Logistics 2021 LLC - a mobile application for ordering trucks, Sakuraz Green Energy LLC - organization of collection and restoration of lithium-ion batteries.

The startup certificate exempts SMEs from paying income tax and income tax on income from innovation activities for three years from the date of receipt of the certificate.

Micro and small business entities whose projects are under development can apply to KOBIA for a startup certificate.
