April 14, Fineko/abc.az. 4MAPS Bilgi Teknolojileri LLC has been awarded the status of a resident of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park. The company will implement project "Organization of a research center, cartographic & navigation services" on the territory of 1.5 hectares of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park.

ABC.AZ reports that at the first stage, 750 jobs are planned to be created at the enterprise, the investment value of which is AZN 10 million.

Company’s founder Abdulla Demirtas said that a 6-storey research center and a business center will be built on the territory of the park, where restaurants will work:

"Our company is a partner of the mapping and navigation services platform HERE and Apple. We are also a Yandex data provider for Azerbaijan. We collect and send Yandex Map data. We are planning to create a card formation center (processing center) in Azerbaijan for the countries of Eastern Europe, Georgia, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and Central Asia."
