April 11, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 April 2022, Azerbaijan numbered 1,360,747 taxpayers (9.7% more against Jan-Mar 2021).
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy that the total number of taxpayers grew by 9.7%, including the number of individuals by 9.9%, and the number of legal entities by 7.8% against Jan-Mar 2021.
Over Jan-Mar 3,980 commercial organizations passed state registration (14.1% more versus Jan-Mar 2021). 82.2% of commercial organizations are registered in e-form and 17.8% on paper. 530 commercial organizations (17.1% of the total number) were registered for VAT purposes.
