April 5, Fineko/abc.az. American businessman and founder of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk, overtook the founder of online retailer Amazon Jeff Bezos in the list of the richest people according to Forbes magazine, who held the first place for four years.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that this is evidenced by the rating data.

Elon Musk's fortune grew by 45% over the year to $219 bn. Over the same period Bezos lost $6 bn and his fortune is estimated at $171 bn.

Next in the ranking is the president of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy group, Bernard Arnault. His fortune is estimated at $158 bn. And the 4th place is taken by Microsoft founder Bill Gates, whose fortune is estimated at $129 bn.

Top 5 is closed by Warren Buffett, the head of the Berkshire Hathaway holding company, with fortune of $118 bn.
