April 4, Fineko/abc.az. Last month Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to transfer gas contracts with “unfriendly countries” to settlements in rubles.

ABC.AZ reports that some countries have begun to agree with such a demand, although they previously objected.

Slovak Economy Minister Richard Sulik stated that gas supplies to the country cannot be stopped, so the country is ready to pay for fuel in rubles.

The Slovak minister stressed that the country's industry cannot completely do without Russian gas. He pointed out that Slovakia currently covers the need for natural gas by 85% with supplies from Russia.
