April 1, Fineko/abc.az. 5.4 bn cu m of gas and 856,100 tons of condensate were extracted from the field for the entire period from the beginning of the development of Umid field in 2012 and as of 1 March 2022.

ABC.AZ was informed at SOCAR that last year gas production from Umid field reached 1.114 bn cu m and condensate – 173,453 tons (2.3% and 1.5% more year-on-year, respectively).

In 2012-21, gas extraction at the field grew almost 15-fold and condensate production almost 14-fold.

According to the forecast, in 2022 Umid is expected to produce 1.309 million cu m of gas (a rise of 17.4%) and 194,000 tons of condensate (a rise of 11.8%).
