March 28, Fineko/abc.az. Italian company Eni will not pay for Russian gas supplies in rubles, ABC.AZ reports, citing company’s head Claudio Descalzi as saying this at the Global Energy Forum in the UAE.

"Yes, we have no assets in Russia, we have no projects there. But we are buying Russian gas. They asked us to pay for it in rubles. We’ll hardly be able to do this as we don’t have rubles," he said.
