March 18, Fineko/abc.az. Italian tire manufacturer Pirelli announced the suspension of investments and the restriction of the work of enterprises in Russia against the background of events in Ukraine.

ABC.AZ reports that the company commented on the situation in its statement.

"Investments in Russia, with the exception of those related to security, have been halted. The work of factories in Russia will gradually be limited to those activities that are necessary to ensure the financing of wages and social services for employees," the company said in a statement published on Thursday.

It is noted that Pirelli has created a crisis committee to constantly monitor developments in Ukraine and announced the preparation of measures that could mitigate the consequences.
