March 9, Fineko/abc.az. Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific, one of Asia's largest airlines, recorded a loss of $700 million last year.

ABC.AZ informs that on Wednesday the airline published the relevant report at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

"Cathay Pacific Group's loss in 2021 amounted to 5.527 billion Hong Kong dollars ($700 million)," the document says.

In 2020, Cathay Pacific's losses reached $2.79 billion, which was a record high in its history.
