March 9, Fineko/abc.az. UK’s multinational oil & gas company British Petroleum (BP) has announced its intention not to conclude new deals for the purchase of oil and gas from Russia, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the company.

"The only exception would be a situation in which there would be a threat to the security of energy supplies to consumers," he said.

Earlier another British company Shell also announced that they would refuse to participate in all oil & gas projects in Russia, and as a first step they would stop all spot purchases of oil.
