February 25, Fineko/abc.az. The tax revenue of the State Budget of Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 8.5 bn (growth of 17.6% against the forecast and 15.5% compared with 2020).

ABC.AZ reports that State Tax Service’s head Orhan Nazarli stated about this, when delivering speech at forum "Tax reforms for inclusive & sustainable development: towards the voluntary implementation of digital transformation".

Nazarli says that the share of tax revenues in budget revenues made up 32.3% for 2021.

"This figure is 2.4% higher than the relevant indicator in 2020. It is especially important that the achievement of a positive trend on fiscal obligations occurred not at the expense of the influence of price dynamics, but to greater extent due to the beginning of post-pandemic economic recovery and consumer demand growth," Nazarli said.
