February 21, Fineko/abc.az. Sometimes tourists traveling abroad or coming to our country from abroad are deceived by tour operators or travel agents. Such negative phenomena will be prevented in accordance with the recently-endorsed tourism bill. The law defines a number of obligations. And punishment awaits violators of those rules.

ABC.AZ reports that the new bill on tourism, approved by the head of state, will prevent negative phenomena in this area.

It will not be as easy as before to deceive tourists already arriving in the country and going abroad. According to tourism expert Rahman Guliyev, one of the main subjects of the bill is to ensure the safety of tourists.

With this purpose, the new document defines specific obligations to tour operators and travel agents. The provision of emergency medical assistance to tourists during the trip has already become mandatory.

Guliyev added that the new bill will form tourists' trust in Azerbaijan.
