February 18, Fineko/abc.az. Employees of the Baku City Traffic Police Department and the Binagadi District Police Department conducted a raid in Binagadi district and around the Baku Bus Terminal against drivers engaged in illegal taxi activities and stopping their cars on the roadway.

ABC.AZ reports that an employee of the Internal Affairs Ministry’s press service said that artificial congestion formed on the road after the raid by police officers was eliminated.

"The place where we are now is located on the territory of Binagadi district. Around the bus terminal, in some cases, drivers of vehicles carrying passengers were kept on the roadway, which prevented the free movement of other vehicles. As a result of our control measures, such negative phenomena were prevented. It should be noted that police officers work here around the clock. Necessary measures are being taken to prevent possible traffic jams," the Ministry said.
