February 11, Fineko/abc.az. "The construction of a new line through the Zangezur corridor from Azerbaijan to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and from there to Turkey and Iran is already in our plans.

ABC.AZ informs that President Ilham Aliyev stated about this after the opening ceremony of the Gobu energy junction.

"And I’ve already said that the Zangezur corridor will play its role not only for rail, road, air transport, but also for the export of energy types through this corridor, and for providing electricity to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which is an integral part of Azerbaijan. And from there we will have a new line to enter foreign markets and after Turkey to Europe," the president said.
