February 7, Fineko/abc.az. We continued studies of the sulfide phase of Chovdar deposit and adjacent areas - the near and far flanks last year with the purpose to ensure the sustainable operation of integrated regional processing site Chovdar.

ABC.AZ reports that Zakir Ibragimov, the chairman of board of AzerGold, stated at today’s press conference, dedicated to the results of 2021 and the upcoming tasks.

Z.Ibragimov noted that the amount of gold that can be sold from the Chovdar deposit and the flanks of the deposits, as a whole, increased up to 682,000 ounces:

"In addition to the gold reserve, which can be sold in 212,000 ounces at the deposit, the amount of gold that can be sold in 470,000 ounces during the 8-year life of the integrated regional processing site Chovdar has been confirmed."
