Regions of Azerbaijan whose residents invest most in banks

February 2, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 January 2022, the domestic banks raised deposits from the population in the regions of Azerbaijan in the amount of AZN 1.2 bn (21.6% more against early 2021).

ABC.AZ informs that in the regions the population of the Absheron-Khizi economic region keeps money in banks.

As of 1 January 2022, population’s deposits in banks in the Absheron-Khizi economic district amount to AZN 304.8 million at 5.1% per annum.

Residents of Ganja-Dashkesan economic region attracted placed deposits in banks in the amount of AZN 139.68 million (5.38% per annum) and residents of Guba-Khachmaz economic region for AZN 82.687 million (4.71% per annum). The rest of the savings accounted for the share of residents of other economic regions.
