February 2, Fineko/abc.az. The portfolio of banks in Azerbaijan on population’s deposits raised from residents of Baku amounts to AZN 8.217 bn as of 1 January 2022, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank.
The indicator is 12% more than at the beginning of last year.
According to the CBA, as of 1 January of this year 88.9% of all bank deposits of the population account for deposits of the Baku residents.
In Baku, population’s deposits for 2021 were accepted at an average rate of 3.27% per annum, and around the country this figure was 3.4%.
