January 27, Fineko/abc.az. 78.6% of individual entrepreneurs are men and 21.4% are women in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that 30.5% of female entrepreneurs are registered in Baku, 10.1% in Lankaran and Astara, 8.8% in Gazakh and Tovuz.

From the distribution of individual entrepreneurs by region, it can be seen that in the economic regions of Ganja-Dashkesan and Gazakh-Tovuz (25% each), Baku (23.4%), Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (23.2%) and Lankaran-Astara (21.8%), the proportion of women entrepreneurs is higher than the national average.
