Oil grows in cost, and Brent is at $81.90 a barrel

January 10, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are increasing in Monday’s trading after a rise by 5% at the end of last week.

By 9:35 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the March’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.15 (0.18%) up to $81.90 per barrel. Following the trading on 7 January, the price of Brent crude futures for March decreased by $0.24 (0.29%) to $81.75 per barrel.

By 9:35 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for February increased in price by $0.13 (0.16%) up to $79.03 per barrel. Following the trading on 7 January, the price of February’s WTI oil futures fell by $0.56 (0.71%) to $78.90 per barrel.

Over the past week, Brent crude oil grew by 5.1% and WTI oil by 4.9%.
