December 30, Fineko/abc.az. In November and December 2021 the currency sales at Central Bank’s auctions amounted to only $1.843 bn.

ABC.AZ informs that since the beginning of 2021 the CBA’s 97 currency auctions sold foreign currency for $6.69 bn to banks.

It should be noted that the foreign currency (US dollars) is sold by the State Oil Fund at currency auctions, and is bought by commercial banks.
