Banks paid interests on deposits for AZN 329.2 million for Jan-Nov

December 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani banks have disclosed the amount of interests on the raised deposits for the past 11 months of 2021.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the banks paid interests on deposits in the amount of AZN 329.2 million.

Thus, interest rates on bank deposits increased by AZN 43.5 million (by 15.2%) compared with the same period of 2020. Over Jan-Nov 2020 the banks paid deposit interests in the amount of AZN 285.7 million.

The banks paid AZN 372.4 million on deposits in 2019 and AZN 312.9 million in 2020.
