Azerbaijan has published data on operations with POS terminals

December 22, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of non-cash payments by plastic cards in Azerbaijan continues updating the historical maximum.

The growth was demonstrated by both non-cash and e-commerce trade via POS terminals.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Central Bank that the operations with POS terminals in the country for November 2021 amounted to AZN 381 million (a rise of AZN 32 million or 9.1% for the past month).

Over Jan-Nov 2021 the non-cash transactions in the amount of AZN 3.501 bn were carried out with POS terminals (a rise of 84% against Jan-Nov 2020).
