December 21, Fineko/abc.az. Since the beginning of 2021 there has been an increase in the number of bank branches in Azerbaijan, as well as a reduction in the number of bank sub-branches.
ABC.AZ reports that earlier this year the country numbered 455 bank branches, then their quantity reached 474 ones with the opening of 19 new branches during the year.
The number of bank branches from early 2021 to the reporting period decreased by 12 to 97.
The Central Bank informs that in November of this year four new bank branches were put into operation, and the quantity of bank branches remained unchanged.
