Azerbaijan reports rise on non-cash transactions over past 11 months

December 21, Fineko/abc.az. An increase in the number of payment cards has had positive effect on the non-cash payments.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the non-cash transactions within the country increased by 78.7% against Jan-Nov 2020.

The non-cash payments by cards amounted to AZN 9.668 bn over Jan-Nov 2021.

AZN 6.132 bn of non-cash payments accounts for e-commerce. Of the remaining amount, operations for AZN 3.501 bn were carried out through POS terminals and for AZN 34 million through ATMs.
