Quantity of bank cards in Azerbaijan has increased

December 21, Fineko/abc.az. The number of payment cards in circulation in the banking system of Azerbaijan at the end of November increased by 185,000 cards with taking into account last month and amounted to 10.858 million cards.

Compared with Jan-Nov 2020, this figure increased by 18.8%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank. The growth on debit cards made up 17.7% and on credit cards 27.3%.

The number of salary cards grew by 130,000 cards, credit cards by 293,000 cards, other types of cards by 1.2 million ones against Jan-Nov 2020.
