December 16, Fineko/abc.az. The number of economically active population in Azerbaijan as of 1 December totaled 5.302 million people.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the monthly report of the State Statistics Committee that for Jan-Nov of this year 23.9% of employees of enterprises and organizations were engaged in the production, including 7.6% in the processing industry, 7.5% in construction, 3.5% in agriculture, forestry and fishing, 1.9% in mining, 1.9% in water supply, waste treatment and processing, 1.5% were engaged in the generation, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam.
