August 12, Fineko/abc.az. As of July 1 this year, 248.5 thousand people were officially registered as unemployed in Azerbaijan.

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan's (CBA) semi-annual "Monetary Policy Review," this figure represents a 3.6% increase compared to the beginning of the year (January 1).

On an annual basis, the number of officially registered unemployed individuals in the country rose by 8.5% over the past year.
