December 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijanis occupy the 7th place among foreigners buying housing in Turkey.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijanis bought 610 apartments in Turkey in 2016, 942 ones in 2017, 1,250 in 2018, 1,191 in 2019, and 1,279 in 2020.

Housing prices in many regions of Turkey are low. At the same time, the Turkish government grants citizenship to those who buy real estate worth at least $250,000. Currently, when the Turkish lira has depreciated, foreigners have increased their purchases of real estate in this country. So, the fall of the lira affected the prices of apartments. Compared with the previous period, housing prices have decreased.
