December 14, Fineko/abc.az. American company Media Platforms (the owner of social network Facebook) acquired the trademark of the American bank of the same name (MetaBank) for $60 million.

ABC.AZ reports that a representative of Meta Financial Group (the parent company of MetaBank) said that the deal on behalf of Meta Platforms was executed by Beige Key from Delaware.

After acquiring a new trademark, some argue that Zuckerberg has already entered the banking sector.

So, analysts believe that Zuckerberg bought the meta sign precisely for this purpose.
