December 13, Fineko/abc.az. The total capacity of energy generation in Azerbaijan has been published.

ABC.AZ informs that our country’s total production capacity is 7,538 MW. This was noted in the presentation of the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources of Azerbaijan.

According to the report, 6,238 MW of total energy generation accounts for thermal power plants, 1,151 MW for electric power plants, 42 MW for solar panels, 63 MW for wind energy, 37 MW for waste energy, and 7 MW for hybrid plants.

Thanks to renewable energy sources, Azerbaijan's total energy generation capacity will be 440 MW by 2023, 460 MW in 2023-2025, and 600 MW in 2026-2030.
