December 9, Fineko/abc.az. The quantity of Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad lowered by 24.7%, and the number of foreign citizens coming to Azerbaijan decreased by 38.2%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the balance of payments of Azerbaijan for Jan-Sept 2021.

During this period the services rendered by foreign countries to residents of Azerbaijan in the field of tourism amounted to $367.4 million.

88.5% of them were related to personal visits of Azerbaijani citizens. For the reporting period the construction services provided to non-residents in the non-oil sector declined by 3.4 times to $6 million.

And the volume of other business services paid to non-residents in the non-oil sector increased by 37.3% up to $668 million.
