December 9, Fineko/abc.az. The total balance of payments for the first 9 months of 2021 amounted to $2.437 bn.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that the balance of payments over Jan-Sept 2021 was mainly affected by the recovery in prices at world commodity markets and a significant increase in non-oil exports.
In the current account balance, the surplus totaled $3.9 bn, and due to the movement of capital and finance, a deficit of $1.5 bn was formed. Reserve assets grew by $2.4 bn.
