November 22, Fineko/abc.az. Shah Deniz 2 starts production from the fifth well on the northern flank.

Cargo transported on BTK line has increased

ABC.AZ reports that the current capacity of Shah Deniz 1 and 2 is currently about 70 million (more than 25 bn) standard cu m per day.

In July 2021 the daily production from the Shah Deniz Bravo platform reached the same level as Shah Deniz Alpha for the first time. In total, in the first 3 quarters of the year about 16 bn standard cu m of gas and 3 million tons (about 24 million barrels) of condensate were produced from the Shah Deniz Alfa and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms.
