November 5, Fineko/abc.az. Out of the 26 banks operating in Azerbaijan, the loan portfolio of five ones as of 1 October 2021 was less year-on-year.
ABC.AZ reports that among those five banks are Xalq Bank, Premium Bank, Azerbaijan Industrial Bank and AFB Bank, as well as the Baku branch of the National Bank of Pakistan.
The largest decrease was recorded on AFB Bank (71.1%) and the smallest on Xalq Bank (7.5%).
The loan portfolio of the remaining 21 banks has increased. The highest dynamics was registered on the Baku branch of the National Bank of Iran (85%).
