Electricity and gas prices have grown - Tariff Council’s decision enters into force

November 1, Fineko/abc.az. According to the decision of the Tariff Council, new prices for electricity and gas have entered into force in Azerbaijan from today. 

ABC.AZ reports that from 1 November 2021 the price of electricity for consumers with consumption of up to 200 kWh is set at 8 gapiks/kWh, from 200 to 300 kWh (including 300 kWh) - 9 gapiks/kWh, and over 300 kWh - 13 gapiks/kWh. 

Since 1 November 2021 the gas tariffs for part of the annual consumption of the population up to 1,200 cu m have been increased from 10 to 12 gapiks. According to the previous decision, 20 gapiks per 1 cubic meter were determined for a part of the consumed gas with volume of 1,200-2,500 cu m (including 2,500 cu m) and 25 gapiks for a part with volume of more than 2,500 cu m.
